Where: Follow signs to the Games ground from the A9 The Birnam Highland Games is one of the biggest and best events of the year here and makes for a great family day out. In addition to all the traditional events and music, you can enter the World Championship Haggis Eating competition or the Mad Kiltie Dash, depending on your area of expertise! The Games also host the Scottish 100 yard medal and 800 metre championship, and there is an impressive beer tent and, for children (and the odd grown-up), all the excitement of the funfair.
