The closing date for entries is 31st October 2008.

Photographs should be no more than 2MB in size and scanned images should be no more than 1800x1200 pixels or 4MB. Please send us your entries via our website Photographic Competition submission form.

Images can be of anything in the Dunkeld & Birnam area – a place, event or activity. Please tell us why you have chosen your image by completing the sentence on the submission form “My favourite thing in the Dunkeld and Birnam area is xxx because………” in no more than 30 additional words.

For each entry please include you name, address, and photograph caption including the name of the site or location.

If entering material on someone else's behalf make sure you have obtained their permission and include their details.

Dunkeld and Birnam Tourist Association cannot accept any responsibility for late or lost entries.

Entrants must ensure that all the necessary permissions are obtained from people featured in a photograph. Anyone submitting an entry warrants to the Association that all such permissions have been received, and shall indemnify the Association against any claims arising through breach of this condition.

Please do not place a digital signature or any other identifying mark on your entry.

The winning photograph will be selected at the end of September by judges appointed by Dunkeld and Birnam Tourist Association. Winners will be notified by email and the results posted on the website.

The decision of the judges will be final.

Entrants submitting digital files using the online entry form should print and keep a copy of their online entry form as proof of entry.

The Association shall be entitled to use any entry for publicity material, and to display any entry on the Association Website. or elsewhere.

Anyone submitting an entry to the competition shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions
